Hello Friends,

I am Aryan Trehan, a student from Rajahans Vidhyalaya taken up a Solar Energy Lighting support project with Habitat for Humanity India in Chafewadi, Raigad district, Maharashtra.

Recently I have begun working on a Solar energy project for lighting up homes at villages and underprivileged areas in need of light using *solar lanterns and solar lights*. Our aim to be essentially lighting up an entire village with *effectively NO CARBON FOOTPRINT*.

Millions of homes in India are yet without electricity, let alone renewable power. Transitioning to sustainable lighting systems is incredibly tough in India, especially in rural areas. There is a great information gap in the public that leaves them confused about projects for sustainable development.

Sunlit gives solutions to grassroots communities to fund lighting in villages in India through solar-powered appliances(like Solar lamps, Solar streetlights, Solar lanterns, etc.). Also, we are completely YOUTH-LED.

HELP THIS CAMPAIGN and support an initiative that will light up our country while preserving mother earth. This would allow me to make a great impact in my community and change lives with green energy.
